Professional BiographyIn 2003, I graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in elementary education and special education. My first job was an opportunity to teach in a K-12 resource room at Calvin Christian School in Escondido, CA. Next I had the privilege to teach first graders here at ACS for three years. I am thrilled with the opportunity to use my interest and experience with technology to serve the students and community of Allendale Christian School in this new capacity. Additionally, I am currently working toward my endorsement and Master's degree in the area of Learning Disabilities.
Philosophy BiographyGod’s creativity is so evident in a classroom of students – the diversity is endless. As a teacher, it is my goal to meet the needs of my students in order to facilitate learning and spiritual growth. Each student has different strengths and weaknesses, and we strive to discover those and use the strengths to build up the areas of difficulty. All students can be successful in learning more about God and his world.
